POOL CAGE WASHING

Pool cage cleaning is a gentle wash of the entire screen enclosure — aluminum frames, the screen panels themselves, and the door tracks — using low pressure and detergents, because pressure that’s safe on a driveway will tear screen mesh outright. Brevard cages green up fast: humidity feeds algae on the shaded panels, and the frames collect a film of grime and mildew that dulls the whole structure. Cleaned properly, a hazy cage goes clear again — and the screens survive the process. Nate quotes it free, in writing.

Pressure Washing

What this covers.

Screens tear; that decides the whole method

Screen mesh is the most delicate surface on your property — a wand pass that wouldn’t mark concrete will punch through it or stretch it loose from the spline. So the cage gets the softest treatment we do: low-pressure rinse, detergents carrying the load, technique that works with the panels instead of against them. A screen that’s already torn gets pointed out, not made worse.

Frames, panels, tracks — the whole enclosure

A cage wash that only rinses the screens leaves the job half done. The aluminum frames carry black mildew film that dulls the whole structure — the right detergent brings them back bright. Door tracks fill with grit until the slider drags. We wash the full enclosure top to bottom: frames, every panel, kick plates and tracks, so the cage reads clean as one piece.

A clear cage changes the whole pool area

Homeowners underestimate this one until they see it: a greened-up cage puts a haze over the entire pool area, and a clean one is like taking sunglasses off. More light reaches the deck and water, the view out to the yard sharpens, and the enclosure stops looking older than the house. Pairing the cage with a pool deck cleaning in the same visit finishes the space properly.

Questions

Asked before booking.

Will washing tear or stretch my pool cage screens?

Not the way we do it. Screens tear under pressure, so the cage gets low-pressure washing with detergents doing the actual cleaning — the same soft-wash principle we use on houses, tuned gentler still. If any panel is already torn or pulling from its spline, we flag it before we start rather than surprise you.

Can you get the green film off the screens and the black grime off the frames?

Yes — both, in the same wash. The green on the panels is algae and the black on the aluminum is mildew film; each responds to detergent, not force. The cage comes out clear and the frames come back bright. It’s a dramatic before-and-after most people put off far too long.

Do you clean the pool deck at the same time as the cage?

Yes, and it’s the natural pairing — the cage drains onto the deck, so washing the enclosure first and the deck after leaves the whole pool area finished in one visit instead of two service calls. One setup, one written quote covering both surfaces, scheduled Mon–Sat around your week.
