DRIVEWAY WASHING

Driveway pressure washing removes the layer Florida lays down on every slab — algae film, tire marks, oil drips, gum, and the orange rust arcs that well-water sprinklers paint across concrete. Rust and oil are the two most misunderstood stains: neither one moves under plain pressure, no matter how long you hold the wand there. They need the right treatment first, then the wash. We clean concrete and pavers at pressures matched to each surface, and Nate quotes the job free, in writing.

Pressure Washing

What this covers.

The orange rust stains sprinklers leave behind

Huge swaths of Brevard irrigate with well water, and the iron in it stains driveways, walks and curbs with unmistakable orange arcs. Pressure alone won’t move iron staining — it just brightens the concrete around it, making the stain stand out more. We treat rust with cleaners made for it, then wash, and the before-and-after on a well-water driveway is the most dramatic in the trade.

Oil, gum and the everyday grime

Oil drips soak into concrete, so they get degreased before the wash instead of chased around with the wand. Gum comes off with directed technique rather than brute pressure. The general film — algae, dirt, tire dust — is where surface cleaning shines: even, overlapping passes that leave a uniform finish, not the zebra-stripe wand marks a rushed job leaves behind.

Concrete takes pressure; pavers need judgment

A concrete slab can take real pressure, and that’s what strips embedded grime. Pavers can’t take the same treatment — too much pressure blasts out the joint sand and scars the surface. We wash each at what it can handle. And to be clear about scope: we clean driveways — the slab itself is another trade’s territory, and if yours needs more than a wash, we’ll say so.

Questions

Asked before booking.

Can you actually get the orange sprinkler stains off my driveway?

Almost always, yes. Iron staining from well water needs a rust-specific treatment before the wash — plain pressure only brightens the concrete around the stain. Treated and then washed, the arcs lift and the slab comes back uniform. It’s one of the most common jobs we quote in Brevard.

Will pressure washing damage my pavers?

Not at the right pressure — and that’s the difference between washing pavers and blasting them. Too much pressure strips the joint sand and scars the surface. We wash pavers at what they can handle, keeping the full-pressure work on concrete slabs that are built to take it.

Do you repair cracks in the driveway too?

No — driveways we clean, nothing more. Fixing the slab itself is a different trade, and pretending otherwise is how homeowners get burned. Our three trades are painting, pressure washing and stucco. If your driveway needs more than a wash, Nate will tell you straight during the free walk-through.
